How is CBD Oil Good For You?

People have reported using cannabidiol (CBD) oil to help with pain, anxiety, and sleeping disorders. In one recent study, patients who were receiving chemotherapy used CBD oil and found that it helped to lessen side effects from chemotherapy, especially feelings of nausea. There is increasing research supporting the effectiveness of CBD oil for treating certain symptoms related to cancer treatments, such as nausea and pain.

It is too soon to know the full range of effects CBD can have in treating anxiety and mood disorders, but individual studies appear to show varied positive results. Studies, however, suggest that CBD can help alleviate mental symptoms like paranoia.

One study found that CBD helped block some potential psychiatric effects of THC.

For instance, one study suggests that CBD could potentially lessen some of the negative cognitive effects of frequent cannabis consumption. Some studies have suggested that CBD can aid in the treatment of substance abuse disorders, mental health disorders, and some types of anxiety issues.

Some scientific studies suggest that CBD can help symptoms of several anxiety disorders, chronic pain, and enhance immune function. Other studies show that CBD can be helpful for managing symptoms of MS, Parkinsons and Alzheimers diseases, too, because CBD has neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory properties.

However, more studies are needed, since many have suggested it is not only CBD alone, but the combination of CBD and other cannabinoids, which could be helpful for relieving many symptoms of MS. While CBD is being studied as a treatment for a wide variety of conditions, including Parkinsons, schizophrenia, diabetes, MS, and anxiety, studies supporting the benefits of this medicine are still limited. Several studies suggest that benefits from pure CBD could be widespread beneficial effects, however.

People prone to undesirable side effects, for instance, might still be able to reap potential health benefits by sticking with products with lower levels of THC and higher levels of CBD. If you are looking to lower stress or get a better nights sleep, for instance, CBD can offer benefits without the negative side effects associated with THC. Taking CBD alongside THC has also been shown to help lessen some of the undesirable effects THC can have. THC and CBD can also affect some medical conditions and can interact with some medications, so you should always use caution before taking THC and CBD.

With this, CBD may be confusing to people, like how the various CBD products work and which health conditions it may be used for. People say that they can use CBD oil for a variety of different types of chronic pain, mental disorders, sleeping disorders, arthritis — the list goes on.

CBD oil advocates say CBD oil can be used for conditions like chronic pain, inflammation, migraines, epilepsy, autoimmune diseases, depression, and anxiety. Claims that it can aid conditions like anxiety, depression, and addiction, in addition to epilepsy, have made it appealing to individuals looking for more natural alternatives.

CBD oil is getting some momentum in the wellness community, and a few scientific studies have confirmed it may relieve symptoms of conditions such as chronic pain and anxiety. Whether you are using CBD for insomnia, anxiety, or chronic pain, CBD may offer relief in a number of areas, with none of the side effects associated with prescription medications.

The Bottom Line Studies and self-reports about CBD oil suggest it can offer some benefits, but it needs more research on humans to conclusively prove it is an effective, safe treatment for various ailments.

While no conclusive scientific data exists about using CBD for dogs, there is anecdotal evidence from dog owners who say that it may be useful in treating pain, particularly nerve pain, as well as helping control seizures. More importantly, CBD can be helpful for addiction, too, thanks to the effects of CBD on treating common substance-use disorders. Due to its stimulant effects, CBD oil can help control cravings and anxiety triggers for those using heroin.

You should be careful about using CBD oil alone for any anxiety-related conditions, because any trace of THC may exacerbate anxiety and reverse the effects of desire.

When combined with THC, CBD may even reduce negative effects associated with arthritis and other autoimmune diseases. A study in The European Journal of Pain showed that using animal models, CBD applied on skin could help reduce arthritis-related pain and inflammation. In one four-week trial, individuals with nerve damage to the lower half of their bodies reported a significant decrease in sharp, acute pain after applying CBD oil to the surface.

Pain So far, much of the evidence about CBDs ability to decrease pain comes from animal studies, including a December 2017 study published in the journal Pain, that found that CBD applied on the skin of rats suffering from osteoarthritis dramatically reduced joint pain and inflammation.

Fortunately, some medical researchers have found that CBD helps to decrease symptoms of mental disorders such as depression and anxiety in humans. CBD also has the potential to decrease pain, and it also makes living a life of pain less efficient. Similar to helping people to relieve their inflammation, MS, chronic pain, and cognitive disorders, a recent study focusing on using CBD for treating Alzheimers disease found that CBD has effects that effectively treat disorders of the nervous system, including Alzheimers.

According to this 2012 study published by The Journal of Experimental Medicine, cannabidiol (CBD) could be a major breakthrough for treating chronic pain, particularly for people suffering from MS (multiple sclerosis). According to The British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Cannabidiol (CBD) is the most commonly used for treating anxiety, schizophrenia, nausea, vomiting, inflammation, and epilepsy. Many people also rely on CBD for treatment of inflammation and other conditions related to compromised immune systems. THC may cause dependence and cravings; the plant extract is being studied for aiding people in recovery.
