Foot corns are commonly occurring & very annoying condition. It is caused by pressure and friction caused by wearing uncomfortable foot wear, without socks and unhygienic feet conditions. The effected area of skin becomes hard with passage of time and turns into a painful corn.
Corn can be really painful. Surgical removal should be the last thing as it recurs again. Home remedies have been used since centuries to cure corns.
Easy remedy for treating corns is:
Take a shallow tub fill it up with hot water, add a cup full of apple cider vinegar, a few drops of tea tree oil, add 10 ml of shampoo so that feet and skin will soften.
Soak it for 15 to 20 min and then scrub the corn calluses with a pumice stone or earthen foot scrubber add few drops of vinegar while scrubbing.
Pat dry dab castor oil to the affected area, repeat for week to 10 days corn will disappear.
In case of old and stubborn corns, take a lemon piece bigger than the size of your corn; place the pith on the corn and fix it up with a micro pore or simple bandage, keep it for 3-4 hours or even overnight if you can. Continue doing this till it disappears.
Maintain good feet hygiene and always wear good quality comfortable footwear to avoid recurrence.
